I am a PhD candidate in International Relations at the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) in Sofia, where my research focuses on private military companies (PMCs) and their role in conflicts in the Middle East. I also hold a Master’s degree in Diplomacy and Strategic Analysis from UNWE and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance.
Previously, I have managed IT projects for Barclays Bank in the United Kingdom and worked as a personal assistant to high-profile individuals in the UK, gaining practical experience in complex organisational, security, and communication environments. My academic work lies at the intersection of security studies, international politics, and the political economy of conflict, with a particular interest in how non-state armed actors shape regional dynamics and state power in the Middle East.
